Ann Rychlenski

One of the silliest shows I have ever seen. This has about as much to do with the life of Mary Queen of Scots as does American Idol. In short, this is teenaged girl fantasy at its height. The dialogue is awful, the costumes completely wrong for the time period (although beautiful), and the premise of Mary (a highly intelligent and well educated and cultured young woman) running around with this gaggle of giggling geese at the court of Catherine DeMedici goes beyond absurdity. Unless you are 13 years old and like to play dress up - I suggest skipping this exercise in nuttiness.
