Up until the final episode, Raised by Wolves was one of the best Sci Fi series I had ever seen. It was intellectually stimulating and ventured into the bold area of the destructive nature of religious belief. It also presented remarkably creative special effects and the stimulating question of when does sentient AI become human? Unfortunately, the writers dropped the ball and turned a "Blade Runner" quality production into a Bug's Bunny cartoon. Give me a break: a flying monstrous snake from the mouth of Mother? What happened to the intellectually stimulating themes? Any attempt at erudition was gone in a flash and made the series unwatchable.
