Long lines and crowds to get in. Highly recommend showing up 30 minutes before film time, plenty of time to view the mildly interesting animatronic Auras, there are 5, and the oversized light display in the lobby.
One thing they definitely did right is they appear to have built twice as many women bathrooms as men so I didn't have to wait around for my wife to get through her line as happens at too many venues.
50 minute IMAX, reminded me of the IMAX experience Blue Planet, or Planet Earth, or whatever it was called, with an over the top story imposed onto it. I spent the first ten minutes of the show waiting for the actors to wake up from their cryogenic sleep. That part was barely better than AI produced art, had zero story value, and took up 20% of the show time I paid hundreds of dollars to watch!
There was about 3-5 minutes total where they actually made good use of the overhead projections, some good underwater and cave stuff, but mostly it was open sky.
Then they went on about how we have always worshiped planet earth as Mother and they showed scenes of ordinary religious ceremonies obviously worshiping their own gods.
So go buy some IMAX tickets to your favorite show, buy the overpriced drinks, pizza, alcohol, whatever they have at the theater and buy more than you need . . . and you will enjoy it more and still pay less than half what this experience costs.
