I get that it’s a sad film. Mainly because of two things: 1. His daughter never really knows how he was responsible for getting the piano for her. 2. He never gets that the Russian gal is in love with him and would truly care for him which is his tragedy. He is basically blindsided by the daughter issue. Still, I watch this again and again. So there.
