A very good unspecified-near-future war film that offers a realistic portrayal of war without overblown heroics or typical hollywood action-film excess. Much is left unsaid about the nature of the conflict or the parties that area fighting. This ambiguity is a plus as you have no idea which side is you should be rooting for - this makes it much more interesting. It's a melancholy film that might not be for everyone but will shine for those that are into it.
