I loved everything about this film outside of the voice acting for the nanny. It completely undermines the brilliance of the rest of the film. I’m truly sorry. It just comes across as so inauthentic and does not match the visual work of the character whatsoever. This is an amazing film and honestly this isn’t the only aspect of the voice acting to not that doesn’t measure up to the visual work. But the nanny feels so wrong throughout the entire film, it feels like the voice acting is a burden. Honestly at this point I’ve only just finished watching and have no idea who it even is. I’m going to check it out after this review. But I know this is a harsh review, and I apologize to the actress but I’m just trying to give some honesty based on what her work did for this film as I watched it. Great film, unfortunately bad voice acting from the nanny. Please everyone watch this movie it’s so much fun. I mean this only as constructive criticism as a huge animated film fan.
