Genuine movie lover here . Not a fan or paid reviewer ( I watched it in Mumbai with Tamil audience first show at 4 am) I’m disappointed with Venkat Prabhu the writer and director. First half is simply slow and boring… no pace or excitement. Same masala movie and except for little humour nothing works. Venkat Prabhu best is Manadu and mankatha… goat is his 5 th or 6th best. Second half is ok. Vijay as villain did not work for me… Ajith as a villain and hero might have worked. I couldn’t enjoy or bare the villain Vijay in second half. His motive to kill his own sister, mom , love interest and trying to kill entire audience in cricket stadium for personal revenge does not make any logical sense. This movie is a simple desi remake of Gemini man , from first scene in train to main villain -the person from ex squad taking revenge on his team members using the hero’s son as a clone of villain. Same remake BS. Gemini man was much better. There are two songs misplaced in the movie , all audience felt disappointed, lagged and looking at their cell phones. Nothing special in this movie. Very disappointed … sorry vijay sir, altee might be better for you. Good luck in politics to you sir. You choose wrong director VP. Movie is average guys 2.5 stars . That’s all. Nothing exciting or amazing to talk about. I’m disappointed with movie , want half my money back. Sorry again Vijay fans … this movie was not honestly fully enjoyable May be 5.5/10 only for Vijay acting I am giving .5 more. Immature creation from the writing and directing team. Vijaykanth looks like cartoon and second deaged Vijay is worse. Please don’t go with high hopes… the 3 hour length will kill you more than the villian Vijay . Venkat Prabu is the true villain
