I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's main message to me was that of sons living in their fathers shadows. One wanting to honor his deceased fathers legacy, the other wanting to please his father and restore the legacy his father had.
Many have said Adonis fighting Viktor would not work in real life but in cinema you get to suspend reality for those hours while you are immersed in that universe. This wasn't about making it work in "real life" this is about the story of David and Goliath. Creed has to stand up to his fathers Goliath, for himself.
It's a film about family, regret, legacy, redemption and acceptance. It's a good continuation of both Adonis and Rocky's individual stories .
