A phenomenal book from start to finish. This book enthralled me with its storyline and gave me permission to grieve all of the earthly feelings that come with being Ghanaian, in your mid 20s, working in the creative industry and having fidelity to family. Its tender prose, relatable storyline and emotive narration made me empathise with the protagonist in ways I never thought possible for by myself. This book is a recipe for healing that revived my love for reading.
