In 2010 I watched this movie as an 8 year old, having loved the cartoon series. The disappointment I felt after this ending will never, EVER, be matched. Even as an 8 year old I realized how terribly butchered this film was, and how the ruined characters I loved. If you watched this film, and have never seen the animated series, you are doing yourself a disservice. If I could give this review 0 stars, I 100% would. Nothing is a bigger mockery of its source material than this. M Night, shame on you for nearly ruining such a beloved franchise and its characters. OH YEAH, Fire Bending is completely wrong in this. Fire is energy, not matter. We don't find fire naturally in the world, its made. Literally abomination of a film.
