I honestly prefer everything that happened in the game version through and through. I didn't like the changes they brought to this amazing game with the live-action adaptation. Some things just annoyed the hell out of me. For example, what's the point of making sam mute and deaf? That was a weird change. Spores aren't even a thing in live-action at all, why not? Cordyceps fungus actually spreads spores in real life, why did they exclude that part? I don't get it. Last but not the least, don't even get me started with the changes they made with bill and frank. If I totally ignore that out-of-context filler love story, I feel like I won't miss anything and it doesn't progress the storyline at all.
