This movie kicked my butt with agonizing heaps of suspense, while being genuinely scary; I watched it on HBO with no way to pause it, and thanks to brilliant writer / director Roxanne Benjamin, I didn't dare go to the kitchen or bathroom, for fear of missing something. Highly cinematic, the main character is a lazy, free-spirit, the behavior of which, I'd liken to the lackadaisical "Prissy," in 'Gone with The Wind.' And soon the character, Wendy, has gotten herself lost, deep in a vast forest, as she squanders her scarce resources, like her map and cell phone juice. I soon was worried she might encounter anything from a Bigfoot to a UFO abduction... I never knew what to expect... and the movie did not disappoint me! Even a simple text she receives from a friend, after she shares a scenic selfie, induced maximum chills and made my blood run cold, basically asking, "Who or what's that behind you, in your pic?!" Then her phone promptly goes dead without her being able to examine the photo. — Highly recommended! I loved every second of this film!
