I’ve been a fan of the books since I was a kid. I personally prefer the movies (Slight bias because of the actors & sound design/visuals) the books got a bit messy and so when the first movie came out, I.Was.Excited.As.Hell. This series will always have a special place in my heart and I read the books often just to get that feeling again that it gave me the first time I read it. Rest In Peace to my personal favorite characters, Chuck, Alby, Winston, Dr.Eva Paige(Dont @ me she was good at heart and I cried when she died), Teresa, and of course Newt. These deaths hurt so badly especially Newt & Chucks because of Thomas’ bond with the two. You could tell (don’t @ me) that Newt loved Thomas dearly and would (did) do anything for him and stuck by his side til the end. Chuck was the sweetest character and his death made me cry. (not as much as Newt & Winstons)

Honestly don’t understand why this movie got a bad rating. It terrifies me yet amazes me at the same time.

Definitely one of the better horror remakes of the 2010’s. The acting was amazing and I adore like everything about it
