Clever parody of the current environment in the United States right now! Hard to know whether to laugh or cry while watching this movie!

This was a very different portrayal of motherhood which might be unsettling to observe. However, most mothers will understand what is taking place. The superb acting makes all the difference because you are able to both like and despise the main character. The supporting characters pale in comparison which may be why the movie does not enjoy overall high ratings. But if you can overlook the movie’s weaknesses and let yourself be drawn into the story, you can become totally engaged by this psychological drama.
