This was a bit of a letdown after 'Guptodhoner Sandhaney'. Kharaj Mukherjee perhaps got confused about the medium and was a sore in the eye by way of overacting. The fight sequences were juvenile and laughable, so was the chase sequence on-and-off the tram. As to how a person who is newly trained in swimming (Arjun Chakraborty) could stand beneath water without help of a mask for a substantial period, beats logic. This is one of the glaring examples of lack of attention to detail. While all the requisite spices were there to cook a good dish, the end result fizzed out and was a disappointment. The picture postcard like frames of Durga Pujo celebrations were pleasant to watch in isolation.
