This historical fiction of Jude Deveraux was really captivating. I literally found it really hard to put the book down. The story is one of its kind but I really could compare some scenes with that of titanic like both helping each other through a place one really belonged to. It was really emotional to see a final good bye from Dougless , Nicholas leaving a package , a oil painting , the cuff that embroidered Dougless’ name that was so dear to him and Nicholas not marrying any other throughout his life. The ending was really the best this story could have( not giving more spoilers). To the people who wanna read this, I must say go for it if you really like historical romance.
