A must watch. Lost count of the number of times I was either nodding my head, or audibly proclaiming my agreement throughout this. Sometime back in early 2020, I had lost interest in social media . I disengaged myself, not because I was aware of this manipulation of human behavior occurring behind our screens, but, because I had become disgusted with the acute degradation of human behavior that had played out in front of me for the past few years. The spread and defense of blatantly false information, and, The vehement dismissal and refute of fact or history. The anger, hate, public attacks or ridicule so frequently observed. If the spread and manipulation of both historical and current events is not prohibited, If our ideas or actions are swayed by the motives or agenda of a highest bidder. If the information returned to us on the internet is not unique and unbiased but an algorithm based on an AI’s configuration, If left unaddressed, there is NO other possible outcome except the complete collapse and failure of societal harmony, balance and progression as a species. There needs to be regulation, there needs to be change and we all need to wake up and recognize what is happening. It has already started, you know you can feel it, like the world’s gone mad. And this is just the beginning. If the past few years provide any hint as to the direction we’re all headed. What will remain of education, social norms and etiquette, for our children and our children’s children? Terrifying thought. This documentary’s worth your time, think on it, share it with your kids 💗
