Astonishingly good...full of drama , action , wonderful relationships - esp between the captain and doctor, interest , seascapes, graphics, battle, characters, historical interest- a flavour even though " had the Hollywood treatment" of just what it might have been like on a man of war. Personally and IMHO I think Russell Crowe does a superb job of portraying leadership amongst a gang of sailors - the discipline, respect and strong leadership, training of officers , some v young... A fantastic film...with a hinge of sadness over a officer who couldn't cope. Brilliant
