If you want to watch a movie that is not meant to be taken seriously, then this gun-toting, hard-riding cowboy movie is ready made for you. Colin Farrell makes for a grand introduction; you will not be disappointed in this lighthearted western drama. Just don't expect anything more than what it is.

I am a History teacher, and although there are a few inaccuracies, overall it is the best bio-flic that I have ever seen. Brad Pitt's portrayal of Jessie James is spot on with a keen appreciation of the outlaw's growing fame and the rising paranoia that was overtaking him. But, this is clearly a movie about Robert Ford and both his conflict concerning the famous outlaw and the very real danger that he and his brother, Charly face.
