Her monologue regarding Pocahontas and indigenous women was offensive. She was just as colonizing as the colonizers she attempted to blame. Yes, Disney got it wrong. Yes, new Marvel character is male fantasy. BUT using stats to INFER that native women are 3 times more likely to be SA or victimized BC of colonizers is incorrect. Native women are victimized every day mainly in their OWN reservations, due to zero policing, lack or reporting, lack of police due to funding, they go MISSING more than any other group in their counties… it is a serious matter, and not MORALLY right to use to make ratings. This show sucks if it uses “jokes” like this
