This is especially noticeable in the action scenes, which are supposed to be the highlight of the film. The acting is also a mixed bag. Prabhas is fine as Lord Rama, but Kriti Sanon is wooden and unconvincing as Sita. Saif Ali Khan is the only one who gives a truly memorable performance, but even he is let down by the script. The story is also problematic. The film tries to update the Ramayana for a modern audience, but it does so in a way that is both ham-fisted and disrespectful. The film also takes some major liberties with the source material, which will no doubt upset fans of the epic. Overall, Adipurush is a huge disappointment.
