I went to my local theater to watch Madame Web tonight. Very disappointed and honestly quite dismayed. I was expecting a fun and well put together film BUT I was met with disappointment, depression, anxiety, and truthfully the movie wasn’t great either. I tried to enjoy myself but truthfully the people around me at the theater would not shut up, I expected them to be kinder but they weren’t. The theater was packed though as everyone was excited to go watch this cinematic event. Also known as Madame Web. Honestly I got about 5 minutes into the movie before I was harrased brutally by the stranger sitting next to me 30 minutes later a small child shushed me for trying to enjoy the film. The research on Amazonian spiders was not accurate in the slightest, truthfully as a spider expert this movie was quite upsetting for me and my kind, by kind I’m obviously referring to the animal kingdom where we are split from phylum into order then followed by kind; if I was to be more specific I would even say species. Also when she tried to climb the wall it made very infuriated because she could not climb the wall also the people in front were named after Alvin and the Chipmunks doesn’t feel important but I thought I should mention just in case they are there when you go to watch. The stranger next to me also wouldn’t stop quoting the movie while claiming she could see the future, I think she might be crazy but what do I know, I’m not a medical expert but I did take biology last year it was quite interesting and I enjoyed the part where Sydney Sweeney was upside down that one time, I think it might have been in the trailer but that’s fine. Also the other girl with spider arms was quite infuriating to watch because at no point in the film did she eat math for breakfast so I feel lied to. Also weirdly and unrelatedly they called Sydney Sweeney cute when she’s mad which I found quite odd because as someone watching the movie I didn’t think she was that cute when she was mad. Actually I’m an empath so I got pretty upset when she was upset, honestly I’m just not like other guys. Maybe I’m a little different. Also thought I would mention since you’re curious the spider guy sucked, also he was barefoot which I found quite distracting as I was staring at his feet instead gaining any information, he doesn’t even have good feet, like they’re alright I guess. Could be better. Maybe a 6/10 but not in a mysoganistic you know what I meant.
