Shamshera is Bollywood’s strong response to the counterpart of present South Indian domination. It is Bollywood’s strong answer to all those audiences losing faith in its masala movies of bollywood getting inclined towards south Indian action flicks. Yes Bollywood is returning back in its form. No remake, Shamshera is the story of a warrior clan Khameran under British domination period, set in the fictitious city of Kaza where the Clan leader Shamshera demands justice & freedom for their people. Its a story of a hero who rises to save his tribe. Ranbir Kapoor & Sanjay Dutt did their best & were outstanding in their performances. Vaani Kapoor, in the first half of the movie reminds us of Suraiyya (Katrina Kaif) of Thugs of Hindostan. But in the 2nd half we did watch some good acting by the actor. Sourabh Shukla & Ronit Roy had little opportunity but did it brilliantly. Good vfx & a standard storyline with few soothing numbers & terrific action scenes makes Shamshera a must big screen watch for the whole family
