I had such high expectations going in to this show and I wasted two days of my life watching it. You really feel for her and her struggle in the beginning but throughout the show you start to see that a lot of the struggles she begins to face later on, are entirely because of her own actions (ie getting kicked out of the lakeside apartment because of the wild party the night before where she let her ex and his new girlfriend bring alcohol and friends over. Her continuing to place trust in her mother. Leaving her father's house so abruptly when remembering that he hit her mom when Alex was little). This is the most irritating story of a woman that never learns and starts to bring her struggles upon herself. Save yourself the time.
