I am so excited for the sequel. It was slow to start, but once you find out what it's building up to... I must say, 'out of this world', good. Especially for a first time author.
My son and I loved this book. He's in high school and I typically don't allow him to read things intended for an older audience, but I knew he'd love it so much and none of the violence or language is over the top. Very tasteful in every regard.
Even if you're not into scifi, this story rocks! It's truly got something for everyone.

Boring and completely void of any meaningful connection to any character. Every character seems to be a woman with some inexplicable seat of power or special talent with no explanation at all.
There has been nothing creative about this series. Rosario D. Is carrying the story in her back and keeping this series alive by a thread...
