I almost never have a strong negative feeling towards films but this one.....did you put it up so that we can have more racial tension? I grew up in Los Angeles fifty plus years ago and summered in my hometown in Mississippi. My parents couldn't always shield me from racial prejudice....there was more in southern California. We were made aware that we were not supposed to linger in neighbors that were not predominately black. I have lived in predominately white areas for the last twenty-five years and like it because we all keep our business to ourselves. But I am afraid for us all here. You don't know what to say sometimes in the fear that you will offend someone else's sensibilities. I wonder how this movie is going to make things worse for those who don't know for sure that it is a movie and not present day rules.
