I think the five nights at Freddy’s movie was fantastic obviously it was not perfect from a full game interpretation but it was very close to it because the realistic interpretation was spot on yes spring lock may have not been as gory as people may want but I feel like it is a spot on realistic take of if it were to happen in the game it’s depicted as very gruesome and still is in the movie just without as much blood. Another scene with the animatronics being nice was a bit confusing but in the end made sense as it was a mechanic to lure one of the protagonists in to kill them as they are under control by antagonist I’m I die hard FNAF fan and all these other reviews that may say it was bad interpretation and didn’t give off the games vibe makes me disappointed as I thought it was a great interpretation and didn’t see anything too wrong with how it was laid out maybe could’ve been different with main protagonist not falling asleep every night but still makes sense in the end to figure out what is going on in the movie the movie makes great references to the game and book lore and if you don’t follow both then yea you can say that you find it bad if you don’t follow along with every piece of information in the whole franchise. In my opinion this movie was just everything that I was expecting even the cheap jump scares at some points were great cause that’s also what the game is known for as it still has a child like aspect to the whole film I would say this movie is great for the real og fans but people that only just got into it because of the hype will think otherwise.
