This was a well-acted program, particularly with such uncomfortable subject matter. I would have liked to see and hear why Kaimook and her friends felt the need to work under abusive conditions, as they are not slaves, but paid workers. I realize that these perspectives are influenced by culture, and individual experiences (e.g. what 'Me Too' exposed her in America). It would have also been less distracting to repeatedly show the violence that the staff have to endure--especially the dehumanization, torture, and sexual violence. Hinting at it would have sufficed.
Otherwise, the writers do an excellent job of showing why Kaimook and her friends behave as they do at the denouement. The costume and set design are very colorful and beautiful.
