Putting the same sex kiss aside, this was not a great kids movie. I would wait until it came out on Disney +. Buzz’s character didn’t really have endearing qualities that made you want to follow along as in the toy story movies. The quality of film making was great, but it felt like the plot was overly complicated and didn’t keep to the facts of toy story. The identity of Zurg was a major unexplained plot hole. Felt like they did it that way in an effort to teach that people have to change for the good of the world. I guess they just over cooked this and tried to put in moral messaging and manipulated the plot to make it work. Wish they would just keep it simple and stick to the tried and true Pixar successful mold.
