No matter how hard I tried to understand fully the relationships and identities of Baby Nicole, Becky,Jade, Agnes and others, and the names transition, I became increasingly frustrated. I could not unravel it. The story line is superior, but the writing should have clarified the relationships better in the prose. It detracted from enjoyment of the book as a whole. By page 332 with 80 more to go, I found myself seriously thinking of just stopping. I have not yet finished the book.
