I think it's one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. The subtle, understated passions, loyalties, friendships and love that weave throughout the movie are expressed through the food, each ingredient, how it's prepared, and consumed. The actors portray their characters with such authenticity and in such a beautiful 19th century French home setting, I could not help but feel transported in time.
