It is a good movie. It makes people think. It's true love, life is not black and white. She comes from a broken home. He comes from estrangement. They both are fighting their own battles. He helped her and she helped him. Whatever void she had he filled i.e. the lyrics to her music 🎶. Whatever void he had she filled it i.e. he faced his fears over war and addiction. She challenged him, and he opened up. That's how they connected and bonded.
Too many people today tune out once a characture is revealed. However, it's my belief that we need movies like this that are inspiring, pushing and lifting us up to be better people than we have shown. To the people who give this a 1-star review, ask yourself would you rather be in love or be right with the things that are happenjng in life, not just things happening in this movie. Lots of people are focused on the flaws we are not seeing the good things right in front of us. We are better than that!
