I thought the movie was beautifully done, wrote, and animated. I hope more people give the people who worked on this film the credit they deserve. I can’t imagine having to create an anniversary film with so much pressure on me. Gotta give them props.

It was beautiful. The story was done very nicely and it felt like I wasn’t watching a remake it felt like I was watching something new honestly. And as uncanny valley as the animals looked, since I knew what I was going into with them it was an easier and pleasant watch. Beautiful shot choices and CGI and the acting is amazing from Halle. My only complaint was the fact Ursula said everything she was doing instead of just showing us. Like why did she have to explain every step of her choices 😭 but it was amazing in every way.
