Like a bad acid trip. Would have been better as a comedy, but this movie is not funny. More like a horror movie where hopes & dreams are smashed by gratuitous violence. The only cool scene is the dad with his fanny pack.

Why won't this post? It's a feminist movie. She can choose who she wants to marry or date, even if no one understands why. She also proves she can travel the world independent without a man. She helps a domestic violence survivor in Bali buy a house. She opens her mind and heart to the world and culture including food & language, customs, clothes... She studies Buddhist philosophy but doesn't give up critical thinking about arranged marriage or modern medicine. Love that a medicine woman heals her leg & her friends invited her to dance. The Brazilian guy who is also a divorced world traveler is a perfect match because he understands her and helps her overcome fear

Loved this beautiful film. We have 2 huskies.

Colorful. Pitch perfect singing. Ballet dancing. Broadway musical sets & costumes. Life is better inside & out under three conditions: #1 it's a musical #2 it's a love story #3 you can dance with someone of any nationality as part of the plot. Steven Spielberg a great master of our culture. In my neighborhood there really is a west side gang. I'm neutral. I'm also not interested in boxers. Only my true love who would saranade me in the street till I open my window. That's a Latino tradition peeps . Plenty of room for everyone in America!! War if the arrows has too much senseless violence. I turned it off because my kids didn't like it. Not family friendly. I prefer the archery in "painted skin, the resurrection" because the archery serves an ethical purpose in the plot at the end.
