This is the best book (that is not fantasy) I have ever read. It is probably the
first book I have ever read that I cried, In multiple parts. It is such an amazing and captivating story. If I could meet the author, I would probably hug her and thank her for teaching me so many lessons and showing me true kindness. This book is perfect for every age, I read it with my class in fourth grade and have read it more than 5 times since then. It shows what it's like to be called a "special" kid and just the utter feeling of how you are not "normal". This book brings out how everyone feels a little awkward around people different then them and how people so often just assume people like Melody can't think if they can't do other things like talk or walk. The book shows you that even if others are not like you, they are still humans and should be treated as such. I would rate this infinity stars if I could!
It gives out the most important messages of all and it just is the most beautiful writing I have seen. I would recommend this book to everyone!!!
