I remember the news on TV when it all happened, I don't see these kind of film as entertainment or a cinematic experience. Rather one of the many thousands of stories that happened that day, the destruction, the families and villages destroyed. The acting was brilliant and it gives tribute to everyone that was touched by the events. There will never be the perfect story because each story would have to be told. I have a lot of respect for everyone that was involved in making this film so that people that don't know the disaster have an idea of what happened.
If you ever see the sea disappearing, run away! the one lesson I remember from all the news, maybe the one detail that could be added so people remember what to do if it happens. never go and explore when the sea has gone and try to go up.
I hope after all this I can sleep tonight! not of film for the faint hearted.
