The movie itself is great.
But the plot with main accent on "how bad the main hero" is outdated.
His family from first point of view takes him as he is (harsh, misogynist), but actually also don’t count his feelings and honesty.
He has right to welcome guests with respect, but as temporary visit and not occupying his home. Because clearly there are such things as hotels.
He has right to be not baptized and not be judged for that. Because religion is personal choice.
He has right to be mad if family budget spent on expensive trash ("dog statue") without discussion. Because he is responsible for his big family and money has value.
And generally - he has to live his life as he wish, but not be manipulated by his wife. Because speculating about housecare, pretending to be ill, fake crying and lying about transactions are also not right things, at all times.
