Absolutely incredible series. Mysterious. Jolting. Intense. Building. One of the best shows have watched. Each episode builds on this endless mystery.

This is an absolutely insanely star-studded cast. There is at least 10 actors that have routinely played lead roles in major films that you come across briefly. This movie does display some heart felt scenes. It otherwise in my opinion is a pretty standard war-film. I found it worth the watch, but isn't something I would likely watch again.

I try to keep in mind this movie is now over 20 years old. The problem to me with this movie is that all the wonder and desire entirely and completely relies on the dialogue. The dialogue was done quite well. Kevin Spacey made his part as "the traveler/alien" believable, but it was lacking any shocking scenes/or visual stimulation. I feel this movie lacked any visual creativeness. It had a nice twist at the end that leaves one to ponder and possibly able to interpret differently from viewer to viewer. I would not watch this movie again personally.

Viggo (the father) is amazing in this. Father trying to seek hope in a post-apocalyptic world that has sparse human life and no sense of humanity left. Very dark and ominous. Brightened only by the love and dedication of a father to his son. Considering the dark circumstances the movie appears very believable and realistic. No out of touch or out of reach moments. Well-worth the watch.
