Their best Album, John Ashton finally gets his due as THE guitar hero of the band, and provides all the firepower needed to realise their wall of noise/melody vision that they always promised since Talk Talk Talk back in '81. Criminally ignored at the time (and buried commercially by the Cure's Disintegration - also produced by Dave Allen) it's an example of why the '80s rightly stand as that "other" great decade of British Music. While they still a great band into the '90s they were never this powerful, or this vital on record again. Get it, love it, remember them as they were.....giants.
