Dan Corbett

It's a decent, quirky movie. Doesn't grab you at first. But gets more interesting as it moves along. Nicely directed by Danny Boyle (as always) and the kids are very good actors in this.

Excellent Sci-fi/drama. The series starts well and keeps the viewer interested enough to want to keep watching. The sets and scenes are superb and the landscapes of Mars are realistic as you see from the Mars Rover. Mostly in French with subtitles, but the characters slip into English often, especially in the 2nd series. Good story so well worth taking a journey. Hope they somehow make another series.

Saw this film on flight to Mauritius. Helped pass the time. Hopkins is such a fabulous actor. He carries this film. Helen Mirren is good as his wife, but not as convincing as Mr H. Nothing about Hitchcock's background which makes it slightly disappointing, but overall a decent, well made film. I think only Gary Oldman could have played Hitch as well as Hopkins. Says it all really.
