I enjoyed this tremendously. For me it brought to life his intelligence, his creative mind and experiences that contributed to Tolkien writing The Lord of the Rings.
I loved how they interwove his friendships, his relationship with Edith and the horrific consequences of war.
This was well done and loved every minute of it.
