I’m not racist but Halle Bailey was the wrong choice, the character of Ariel has been around for years people have grown up knowing and loving these characters so when a live action movie is announced a lot of people who grew up with this movie had high expectations of a woman with bright blue eyes and bright red hair and that expectation was not met. In my personal opinion the completely erased all aspects of Ariel’s character and personality. not only that but I didn’t like who played Eric blue eyes and black hair? or triton. They changed parts of the original songs (took out the best part of unfortunate souls? Why!? and added two new ones that had no relevance. Also why was the colours under the sea so dull? I’m sorry but I wouldn’t waste your money going to see this. It’s completely ruined this movie for me.
