I thought the first episode was quite good. I'm a bit surprised by the reviews I've seen thus far, for only the first episode. My boyfriend came in from work, after I was more than halfway through the episode, and was instantly engaged based on what he walked into. It's witty and different. I look forward to seeing the other episodes.
