A wonderful series of which I have very fond memories. It was the top TV afternoon series suitable for all ages, at a time when children's television was more innocent than the present. Such a programme was a moral compass giving subliminal examples of honesty, respect for all, the triumph of good over evil and loyalty. Terence Morgan was the perfect choice for the lead. His long marriage in itself, is a testament to a character moral, loyal, and committed.
It's wonderful to have the series on DVD. One can only imagine how it would be in colour. Maybe, that will be remastered in colour in the future.
