Went into this without any real expectations based on the reviews. Reviews can be so misleading. Some people have hardened souls and some have an open heart. This movie was just what the doctor ordered. It touches on social differences, family togetherness and about emotions involved with finding your calling as a young adult. The age group most suited for this flick would be probably 10 years and up. Not because of the content so much as the pace. It isn’t your typical action flick which appeals to younger kids. There was a grandmother and her granddaughter both tearing up behind me towards the end of the movie. It’s heartwarming and simply put, one of the best movies Disney has made in a while. I would equate it to Soul. Great message. Fire and Water don’t mix but love sees past all that.
