Obviously had some money put into it. As all art these days, it’s a lot of bored rich people making movies about bored rich people. This movie didn’t get to the point until the last half an hour and even then I don’t really think it made itself too clear. Humans being turned against their will into breeders and feral breeders at that. Just a lot of jump scare tactics. Don’t try to convince me anyone was german for gods sake, it was only insisting the whole film that these were Germans obsessed with eugenics (also overplayed). Nah, just british actors with phony accents. The lines seemed random. And why was everyone puking? Morning sickness? Ha. The two stars are mostly for the makeup since that was really good. Eh, it’s a horror movie and just like ones before this you can’t help but chuckle and go.. are we supposed to take this seriously? Move along and don’t expect too much from this film.

I loved their performances! It just really bothered me that they made Ellen out to be a psycho, it’s not like anyone was willingly attempting to help understand her. She felt stranded within her depression and possible personality disorder. Too bad that’s how old movies love to portray women who had a keen sense on what they wanted.
