Important documentary speaking truth to power. As an American Jew whose ancestors were forced to flee from early 1900s Russia due to pogroms, it saddens me so deeply that Israel, which portrays itself as a bastion of safety for Jews everywhere, has been committing the same kind of atrocities - in modern form - against the Palestinian people. Not in my name, that's for damn sure. Selective (de)humanization and the world's silence / blindness is the same thing that allowed the Holocaust to occur. I wonder if any of the folks posting one-star reviews below have set foot in the West Bank, or have any Palestinian friends? I highly doubt it. It's easy to dismiss truth as propaganda when your entire society is built to hide that truth from you (and the world). The Judaism I practice reminds me to stand up to oppression of every kind, which is why I am proudly anti-Zionist. I believe the brightest future is one where apartheid regimes such as that of Israel - and other nations - are held accountable for their crimes against humanity. Free Palestine.
