I thought this was terrible. A good start got bogged down in a turgid post apocalypse scenario which was not well explained - what happened to the Martians? How did they survive for the child to reach 5 or 6? How did the Martian fit down the passage?
The final 15 minutes after the 'discovery' was pretty pointless.
A great story laid low by a ghastly adaptation.
