They cancelled Grand Crew and American Auto for this?? Even though I knew that American Auto was struggling and the ratings didn't do Grand Crew justice, at least they were both better than what I'm seeing now in Extended Family. It's a shame that it has to follow Night Court. If this show had to stand on its own, it probably would have been cancelled already. The premise is weak, there is really no chemistry amongst the characters, and it's really not funny to be perfectly honest. Even if the cast was revamped, the writing is not attention grabbing. Donald Faison and Jon Cryer deserve a much better product coming from Scrubs and Two and A Half Men. I don't know if sitcoms still go the way of focus groups before they get green lit, but if this one did, somebody needs to do some serious re-evaluations as they are definitely out of touch as to what the viewing public considers funny.
