I thought the native American aspect was a little uncalled for it wasn't like that in the book and I don't think they should have put that in the movie one it felt really racist being as it made no sense and the chanting that Mike Hamlet did made no sense when a native American makes the chant it's their language and it's something that you feel and understand I thought that that was just a silly part in the movie that they could have gone without as a native American I found it to be ridiculous but for the rest of the movie was okay but I felt like they could have done a little more with it and maybe even added more from the book like where the one kid crosses the bridge and he sees a swamp type creature and it kills him in the street that would have been a really good scene it is sad that he could have done so much more with it and didn't really do what he could have I mean there was a whole bunch in his book that would have made for really good scary things and for some of the things that I seen on this movie I felt like we were more silly
